The brand new, limited edition, seasonal Black Cat is here! Remember the Love Puppy and Sherbet Bunny? These were only available for a very short time last year (and they will NOT be available again in 2008) and now you will be hard pressed to find one for less than $50.00.

Well now you have a chance at the Halloween Webkinz: The Black Cat. This will be the same thing as last year's seasonals, so you want to get it while you can. Also, I can tell you it is VERY cute, and very soft, which is always a plus.

WE HAVE CHARMS!

Yes, we got the Webkinz Charms today! They got held up in Customs coming over the Canadian border, but they finally arrived this morning. We've already sold a ton, so if you want them, you need to give us a call right away! I will post an update later with the styles we have available, but for now just know that they're there. We also got the Panda, Monkey, and Black Bear Webkinz today.

In other news, the Ganz is no longer accepting orders for the pig or monkey at this point. This may mean they are retiring them, it might not. We also saw the newest surprise releases for the rest of the year:

November- Turtle, Penguin, Penguin Lil' Kinz
January- Lil' Kinz Bulldog, Lil' Kinz Leopard, White Seal

And last but not least, the new Limited Edition Halloween Black Cat is on it's way (they shipped them early). It's super cute, so you'll want to get on this one!

Webkinz Explosion

A bunch of new Webkinz made their way to our store today. If you need selection, we've got it! Today we welcome:

Google, Golden Retriever, Frog, Cocker Spaniel, Hippo, Tiger, White Terrier, Yorkie, Rabbit, Black & White Cat, Striped Ally Cat, Pig, and Poodle to our shelves. We also got in some carrier purses that are a great way for kids to tote their friends around. Remember, all of these new Webkinz have very limited quantities, so if you are interested in one, you need to reserve it right away.

In other news, the Black Stallion has now been renamed the Black Friesian. It's the EXACT same Webkinz, just a new name.

We expect to get the charms by Friday, and I will be sure to post as soon as the are in. We expected them today, but found out they got held up in customs, so they will arrive later than we originally thought. Keep checking back for more!

Webkinz Rumors

We've been getting a few questions about Webkinz lately, so it's time to quash a few rumors:

1. Seasonal Webkinz- The following new Webkinz are seasonal, and will only be available for a limited time. Many of them have not been released yet, and will not be released for a while. Previous seasonal Webkinz include the Love Puppy and Sherbert Bunny. Although Ganz has not retired these Webkinz, both are being replaced with new seasonal characters for the upcoming holidays:
Halloween- Black cat. Expected mid-September
Christmas- Reindeer. Expected mid-October
Valentine's (Previously Love Puppy)- Love Frog. Expected mid-January
Easter (Previously Sherbert Bunny)- White Duck. Expected mid- Feburary

We will post notices just as soon as we get these in, so rest assured you will know as soon as they are available here.

2. Webkinz assessories- The latest assessories to be released are the Charms, which grant access to the Magical Charm Forest. These should arrive sometime this week. The Mousepads, Lip Balms, and Body Sprays have (according to Ganz) been pushed back once again, this time to September. This means the Bookmarks and Clothes (originally expected at the beginning of Novemeber) will be pushed back once again.

3. Retired Webkinz- It is true that Ganz has recently retired several of it's Webinz, including the Unicorn, Horse, Basset Hound, and Saint Bernard. You can check the catalog at www.webkinz.com for a fairly complete list of all retired animals (sometimes it take them several weeks to update it).

However, rumors are circulating the the Lil Kinz Basset Hound and Saint Bernard will also be retired with in the next month. This is not true! These Lil Kinz will not even released until mid-October, and it is unlikely that Ganz will retire them right away.
